Administrator Rijndael gives Enzo a carefully level look. The cadet stares straight ahead and stands so straight his feet are barely touching the floor.
"Bring one here."
"Well... one to start with, sir. More if it goes well."
"Bring Users."
"I've got plenty of volunteers, sir. All trustworthy." For, admittedly, a given value of 'trustworthy' in certain cases, he adds to himself. "And it's not like I haven't before. My girlfriend is one, remember."
"Are you trying to overheat my processor, Cadet?"
"No, sir. Trying to foster communication and understanding, sir." Enzo very nearly keeps a straight face.
Again, the Admin gives Enzo a long, slow look.
"Answer me one question, Cadet," he says at last. "Was this Tone or Value's suggestion?"
"No, sir. I swear, sir." Beat. "They love the idea, though," he admits.
"I'll bet they do," Rijndael mutters. He sighs. Then he fixes Enzo with a glare. "You may attempt this logic error on your own time, Cadet Matrix. There will be no Users here during class cycles. You will keep things under control, and if Academy operations are disrupted in any way, you will have KP for the next hour, is that clear?"
"Sir, yes sir!"
"Then by all means, turn this Academy into a circus."
"Yes, sir. I mean..."
"Dismissed!"
