Dean rose up from Sam's computer, reaching into his pocket and producing a burlap bag and setting it onto the table. "I'll be back." He offered a smile to both his brother and Xander and wondered through the diner on his way to the back. If memory served him right, the men's room would be just far enough away outside of the range of the hex bags

"Lorne," Reggie took a seat. "I think that's what Dean had in mind for Sam."
"I know." he grinned. "That kid sings Metallica when he's nervous." he paused plugging the number in his phone. "Oh sweet Jesus those kids just left." he shook his head. "Dean," he perked up. "Its Lorne, Reggie said that you wanted to talk about an arragenment?"

Dean paused on his way to the restroom, standing back and fishing out his phone. He opened it up and brought it to his ear. "Hello?"
"Dean. Its Lorne, Reggie said that you wanted to talk about an arragenment?"
Dean swallowed, his resolved wilting. "Ugh, Hi...um...Lorne. Yeah. I..." He took a deep breath. You can do this. You can talk to this guy. He's two states away...your doing it for Sammy.
"Um...Lorne, I was wondering if you had connections...um...I don't know what Reggie's told you but I need to get my hands on some demon blood for my brother." Dean felt a little of his nerves come back to him, reinfored by boiling anger. He wouldn't be doing this if Sam hadn't been so stupid. "I'm trying to break him of the stuff...so I don't need a lot...just enough to keep the withdrawls undercontrol."

"You and I are on the same page Handsome." he smirked. "I think it can be arranged. It might be best coming from me right now. Seeing as how your brother has been having visions previously." Lorne sighed. "I'm not sure how I'm going to get it to you. I think I might know someone who can get me there." he grinned thinking of the favors Angel owed him. "I'll arrange for the other crew a flight out to Coloardo, I'll see if I can't skip over to your neck of the woods."

Dean grimaced. A demon just called him handsome. God this was a terrible idea, talking to one. He rubbed at his brow, pulling off a sheen of sweat. "Um..." He choked on a nervous laugh. "I don't want to trouble you. I'm pretty sure you could just...um...mail to us. To our hotel." He offered.
"Besides..." Dean grinned just a little, this might get him out of having another physical encounter. "With the angels on our ass, I wouldn't want you to run the risk of getting smited."

Your Dean is rocking my socks off. Also, Immie - big ups on Lorne. I've always loved him...)

One of the great strengths of the show, and a boon to players and fic writers, is how guarded the boys are - even with each other. I think you've got some wiggle room with what actually goes on in Dean's head. Besides, you've been spot on with the stuff Dean would have a FIT about. Souled vamps indeed....

((OOC: Thanks for the complement. I'm worried about not hitting Lorne.))

He recited the address to Lorne. "I'm not looking for a lot. Just enough to keep Sam's head in the game. I hate looking for a demonic red cross, but I got no choice right now." Dean leaned against the wall in the hall and sighed. "So we good? Do...do I owe you anything?" He asked tentatively.
God, don't ask for my soul. Because I'm going to give it to you it you ask at this point. Dean thought miserably.

"Um. Alright." He replied. "Hope you like bad rock songs. I'll pay up when we get back to L.A."
Dean paused for a moment, considering his words before finally finishing. "Hey, Lorne. Sorry I...I freaked out when we met. Don't take it personal. You...you sound like an alright de--I'm mean guy." Dean swallowed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He sounded like a dope, again.
He cleared his throat and maned back up. "Anyway, hehem, thanks. You're doing us a big favor. Thank you."

"Honey, I've heard the dullest rendition of Mandy that could ever be done. I'm sure you're not that bad." he smirked.
"Hey, Lorne. Sorry I...I freaked out when we met. Don't take it personal. You...you sound like an alright de--I'm mean guy."
"Thanks kid, coming from you that means a lot." he smiled, it had been a while since anyone had complemented him. It was nice to be called "guy" even with the slip.
"Anyway, hehem, thanks. You're doing us a big favor. Thank you."
"You're welcome. You three take care." he sighed before haning up.

"See ya around." Dean hung up. He looked at his phone for a minute, adding the number on record into his phonebook and shook out his nerves.
"That wasn't so hard." He kidded himself and proceeded to the men's room.
