Summary: The different ways Sakurai Sho is loved by his fellow members.
Notes: Just like I did back when I wrote Delusions, I searched for inspiration using song lyrics (thanks to cry1baby for recommending me some I finally used~). I tried to keep it simple, and I'm quite satisfied with the results ^^ And obviously, these are dedicated to the birthday boy and my hubbyichiban in Arashi, Sakurai Sho!

#1 - Need you now

A sore throat is always a sign that he’s almost drunk, if not totally.
Sure enough, Jun feels dizzy when he gets up to see his middle school friend to the door, after a nice afternoon catching up with each other. He’s much more impressed after hearing about a normal person’s life than his friend says to be shocked by his idol’s routine.
But impressed is not quite the word; he is rather jealous.
He goes straight to bed, but he doesn’t sleep, wondering about all the things he has given up to be Matsumoto Jun, the singer, the actor, the personality.
He hates it when alcohol does that to him.
There’s only one person that can take him out of this. Even so, normally he wouldn’t call, but now his fingers are dialling automatically. A clear voice says “hello” after the second tone.
Suddenly, Jun breaks down.
Ten minutes after that, there’s a warm hand on his shoulder, patting gently. Jun’s breathing in silence and wiping his tears, sitting on the edge of the mattress. He doesn’t like to look vulnerable in front of anybody, but seeing Sho gives him courage.
Just one kiss and he feels completely reassured.
#2 - Just like heaven

He comes and leaves whenever he feels like it.
Some times, Sho feels him consciously; others, he just doesn’t.
Tonight, Nino is a dream. He arrives around 3am, using the key Sho lent him and he never gave back. Sho’s apartment is neater than his and his bed is softer than his futon, so he often chooses to sleep there instead.
Today, he’s been filming all day and doesn’t feel like even taking off his clothes. He just jumps silently into the bed, right next to the shape already lying there, moves his head closer to it on the pillow and falls asleep.
They dream together.
Once in a while, when Sho notices the weight of that familiar body falling onto the mattress, he takes it into his subconscious. And there he is, Nino, slipping suddenly in his dream, spattering the images of his mind with his presence.
Nino thinks it’s the scent of his sheets -so fresh and intense- that makes it impossible not to see Sho hidden among all those impossible characters of his imagination.
As usual, he gets up before the day starts for Sho.
Nino is a dream; he always comes late and leaves early.
#3 - The dolphin’s cry

It's the second time Sho gets lost during their journey. They should have reached the coast in an hour and a half, but now it's been over two hours since they left the city.
Jun would ask to drive himself, Nino would get the driver even more nervous with his complaints, and Aiba would turn on the radio and start to sing out loud.
Ohno, however, stays the same.
“Shit,” Sho mutters, hitting the wheel with his fist.
Ohno just laughs a bit and looks out the window while wiping the sleep in his eyes. It’s already dawn. At least he’s had some more rest, but he feels bad for Sho. After all, he’s using the hours he should spend preparing his report for News Zero to take him fishing.
“I’m sorry,” he apologizes, rolling down the windows so the early morning chill comes in. “We’ll be there soon.”
“I know it’s near,” Ohno nods, sniffing the air. “I can smell it.”
The driver smiles a bit and looks back at the road. Ohno relaxes in his seat, and he’s soon asleep again.
Whichever road Sho chooses, he trusts him. He’ll sure be woken up by the rumor of waves.
#4 - Storm

Sho’s hand is cold against his forehead.
Aiba’s first impulse when he wakes up is to sit up. But that same hand pushes him softly back down.
“I forgot to put back my watch,” he coughs a little. “I thought I was running late.”
“And that’s why you jumped out of the shower and went straight out to get soaked under the heavy rain," Sho scolds him in his usual motherly tone.
“I wasn’t that wet.”
“Oh really? Then why were your hair and clothes dripping?”
Aiba admits that he's been irresponsible this time. Sho must have been really worried when he found him shrugging with cold at the cinema entrance, all pale and shivering, before he fainted.
“Sorry, Sho-chan,” he says, a lump forming in his throat. “You wanted to see that movie so bad.”
Sho laughs. “That’s not important,” he stands up. “You’re such a kid.”
Before he goes, Aiba grabs his wrist.
“Then kiss me."
“What?”
“You said I’m a kid, right? Kiss me so I feel better."
Sho laughs again, then leans over to kiss him.
“Thank you,” Aiba whispers, and he means it for all the times Sho has taken care of his reckless self.

“Thank you,” Aiba whispers, and he means it for all the times Sho has taken care of his reckless self.
