However after playing around with them for a while, he's decided ultimately that they're useless for his own needs and therefore should be purposed for the next best thing: blackmail! Now he's got them hidden away and turns on the 'berry. ]

Remember trap week? Well, I was a busy little bee. Whenever one of Val's little games was over, I'd slip right in, and anything I could tear out and take for myself.... [He grins] I've got most of it buried in a couple little treasure troves around the biodome. Do you like hooks? Ropes, springs, chains, gasoline, acid, knives and blades? You could make your own little funhouse for anyone who rubs you the wrong way.

Pair that with a little bit of this.... [he points out a plant in the corner of the room. It's been potted, clearly from the biodome. Black, with vicious tendrils bristling with thorns. When the Joker comes closer, it seem to reach out towards him, hopefully]

Just one drop and whoever you please will be limp as a rag for a good hour.

Make me an offer, and you get a vial and an X marks the spot.

[ Bakura considers this, mentally running over his admittedly small inventory of suitable items. He hasn't been here long enough yet to really build much of a collection, aside from Suki's prized fans. He had been planning to extort enough of a price for them to pay Eddie Riggs for the knife he had commissioned, but now he was weighing that against the Joker's offerings.

Finally he seems to come to a decision, and a moment later Suki's fans are brought out of hiding and displayed for Joker to see. ]

How badly do you think that girl will want these back? Humans will do desperate things to buy back what they're attached to.

One more thing. I'm sure it won't be any trouble for you, and then you have yourself a deal.

The fans, and a promise that when you do whatever you choose to do, you film it all for our benefit. And I get to choose one of the victims. Just one. They can be included along with the rest. [He grins] How's that sound?

Your thinking is too narrow. I didn't mean it in that manner, although she wasn't hard on the eyes. And though she struck me as too noble to hurt anyone else in exchange, but to hurt herself for her precious possession...

I have no qualm with letting you see the fun, but if you want to choose someone and have me play with them for your own entertainment, it will cost you something in addition to the vial.

If I agree to this deal, it means that I'll take on your target even if it's an inconvenience to me because I will be giving my word to do so. Think of it as a good business investment, to provide an extra incentive for me to consider your wares in the future.

It sounds like you already have a target in mind. If you have others willing to take on your terms, would you like to consult with them first?

[ he suspects Joker hasn't, but he could be wrong. he is gambling on the fact that Joker implied a specific reference ]

What do you say we meet in the vacant room in suite thirty two to work this out? You bring those pretty toys, and I'll bring a map and a glass.

[ and Bakura will be on time too, the fans tucked in the back of his belt under his shirt; he is not sure what Joker meant by "a map and a glass" but he assumes he will find out soon enough ]

[The Joker is in the room already, apparently empty handed, but with an elaborate flourish he's suddenly holding a vial of black ink-like liquid in one hand and a folded paper in the other]

This is a map marking where you'll find one of my little treasure troves, and this is a bottle of the lovely venom. A drop, and someone will have trouble moving, speaking....screaming.

Three, and they'll be out. More than that, it'll be longer. I'm not sure exactly, but I'm sure you could kill someone with it. [He shrugs] If you wanted to.

Now. I do hope you held up your end of the bargain. What was the young lady's name, again?

[ he pulls the fans out and holds them out to Joker, and though he does not intend to pull anything at the last minute, he is still attentive in case the feeling isn't reciprocated ]

When it's discovered they're missing, it's likely to be traced back to me who stole them. Since I won't be telling anyone where they went, you'll have some time to plan how best to use them to your advantage.

[ because of that, he might wait a day or two before picking up the second part of Joker's trade, the buried stash. for now, he merely regards the vial with a thoughtful but cold smile ]

Let me know if any other possessions of the dead strike your interest. There may not be tombs here, but there are plenty of corpses. It seems a shame to waste a perfectly good set of skills just because I am away from home.

Masks. And suits. Usually spandex, tights, you know, with capes and little masks and fancy weapons and toys.... if you ever find something like that...

[ Bakura thinks, anyone who looks that distinctive basically IS a walking calling card, but he takes the item anyway. ]
