You don't want to relocate, just for safety in numbers? I got a lot of kids and people with no experience here, not a lot of able bodied fighters. I'm doing the best I can with what I've got, but if it comes down to it, I'm afraid it might be me trying to use magic that won't kill people with the collateral, and a puppy.

We might think about it. I'd have to see how the others feel about it. There's five of us. So far it seems like the infected are just sticking to attacking people out roaming in the halls right now. If people would just stay inside like they're being told, it might be okay.

After a few days of the only people left avoiding the halls, then we'll have to worry, and I know for a fact that there are some scarily powerful zombies out there. They can't work magic, or anything like that, but they retain all the strength and speed they had naturally...

Out of curiosity, what do your wards do when someone touches them?

Touches? nothing. My wards are reactionary, the force applied to the door is applied back to the person striking it, or trying to break it down. It takes a lot to wear them down, and flailing against them doesn't tend to end well for monsters.

That's handy. So if one of them runs full speed at the ward, they'll get hit at the same speed and thrown backwards?
