[Harry's not looking quite as friendly as he normally does in his broadcasts. The wizard is fully buttoned up in his armored coat, and wearing heavy leather gloves in his hand. There's a knife handle poking out of one pocket, and he's got his staff. He appears to be standing in the common room of Suite five, which he's rearranged a bit. The couch is gone, there's a large pile of water bottles in one corner and food in the other.]
Alright.
We don't know much, yet, but we know that this "virus" they've put in here with us is dangerous, to say the least. While it may look like a flu initially, people I encountered today seemed to be affected by some form of Rabies.... I can only assume this is some kind of biological weapon.
One interesting thing to note, though. My dog, Hazard, seemed to act strangely around the infected. I've never seen him react negatively to any person before, but he shied away from or barked at people who were affected by the rabies and flu stages of this illness. He also reacted to a few who weren't showing any visible symptoms at all.
I think dogs might be able to detect this sickness. if anyone has a chance to test it with other animals, get the word out, this might be an important step in keeping ourselves safe.
On that note, I would like to declare all of Suite Five a safe zone. I've placed and activated defensive wards on the suite door, and I have a large stockpile of food and water here, if anyone would like to stay, you just have to ask, and agree to submit to a once over by the dog. I'm afraid I'm going to have to play it safe here, if he doesn't seem to like you, I'm not letting you in. Bring your own bedding, and extra food and water if you've got it. I'm particularly offering this to any children, or people who haven't got combat experience or abilities.
My fellow suite-mates, I have to apologize for all this. I'm not going to demand you give up your space so that extra people can stay, but it would be nice of you, we need to preserve as many people as we can before this spreads too far. I'd be happy to do something for you in return, if you agree to tolerate this arrangement for the week.
