[There's an unfamiliar face down the hallway for anyone who's around the suites numbered in the late thirties. While the expression is confusion, he doesn't ask for help the first few times he paces up and down, looks around. It's almost as if he's in a daze though, because really all the stranger seems to be doing is staring ahead. A moment or so

[Hi Jonathon. Have one of Timothy's new Facility friends. Who...is currently all bruised up and wearing a gold collar. Uh...anyway]

This is happening, unfortunately. I'd like to tell you it's a dream but...it's not. The good news is, I do know Timothy. He's here too. And chances are he'll see this and contact you. So that's good, right? [If he knows Timothy, that means he's just a normal human and not used to...anything she is. Yeah, not looking forward to explaining this]

[Don't mind the staring, he's just... his mind isn't fully awake, what with the charm and the fact that he is wherever he is at the moment. Her words register with him and he manages to move to the side, lean against one of the walls.]

I would it's a good thing - is he alright? [He shakes his head.] Actually, are you alright? You've... You look a bit worse for the wear.

He's fine, last I spoke to him. Better than a lot of us, actually. [And then she just waves her hand, all nonchalant] I've had better days-weeks-but I'm fine.

So you're from the same place as Timothy?

That's good, both things. [A sigh beneath his breath and he looks almost relieved, almost.]

Ah - thanks. I'll head back to my room and read it there. Would you mind giving me a second?

Simple 'pleases' and 'thank yous' can get you far, don't you know? [He makes an attempt for a smile, but his frame is moving back down the hall.]

Well I've got some questions that are more about the people than this place too. How long have you been here, and the others? [He's seen quite a few unfamiliar faces by now.]

I've been here for about two months now. They bring in new people once every month or so. You're one of the many oh so lucky people to be brought in this month. There are others who have been here for about two years. In fact, the write up I sent you was one of the people who've been here for that long.

[Some more walking and Kate can hear the sound of a doorknob, some more pacing and then finally Jonathon is plopping himself down on the floor of the room he woke up in. Listening, he takes her words to heart, finds himself disheartened at the explanation.]

That's a record I'd rather not have, but on a positive it's good for everyone else - more help and such. So every month people come and go, but some aren't that lucky.

No way out, no exits, nothing?

It's one no one wants to have. But, you know, not much can be done about that at this point.

None that we've found, no. Like the write up said, this is basically a space station. There are plenty of people here with powers, which would be a great advantage for us, except these collars we're all wearing dampen those powers. The people in charge watch everything and can control everything. That's probably not what you were hoping to hear, but it's true.

Not a good thing at all but it's truth, right.

Gotta take this in stride and catch up with everyone else then, for as long as we got to. [A nod.] Nothing gets the collars off, and so they've got cameras, spies, things of that sort?

Sometimes the truth sucks. This is very much one of those times.

Exactly. That's a good attitude. You learn fast too. All you can do for now is make the best of it. That's what the rest of us have been doing. The best advice I can give you is not to believe anything Val, the computer in charge, tells you. And to accept help when it's offered to you. A lot of people seem to have problems in that area.

[He's reading through the file on the side while holding a conversation, throwing himself into it as best as he can. A nod as he looks back to the feed, and smiles with brows furrowed.]

Ah - not many of the trusting sort in this place, then?

Well, it's not really that. It's more that they're stubborn and unwilling to accept help when they really need it. You wouldn't believe the number of people who get hurt and then refuse to see a healer. Not the smartest idea, by the way. The healers are there for a reason.

Right, right. [Don't mind Jonathon, he's just trying to take it all in right now, because this isn't coming easy but he's not going to scream murder at any of it.]

If they don't see a healer, they probably die huh? [He's at that part in the file, and hey - that gold collar is clicking with him, Kate.] Like... Oh.
