So I guess I'm not the only one who suddenly has bunkbeds in their room, huh? The interns must've gotten really bored and decided to throw a bunch of people in rooms together. [And you can see the bunkbeds behind her] At least you guys ended up with someone good, right?
I still don't know who my roommate is. I'm hoping it's not someone completely terrible. [But then she gives Minako a smile] I'm Kate, by the way. I don't think we've met yet.
I've heard some of the reactions people have been having to their new room mates, and it doesn't sound pretty. So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I have too. Sounds like some people really aren't happy with who they got roomed with. But since you and Suki ended up with each other, there's a good chance I'll end up with someone decent too.[Another smile] Thank you.
Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of the idea of them handling us whenever we move. They proved in the past that they're all kind of creepy. It's...really better not to think about it.
It is the first time they've done something like this, at least that I've seen. But their observations at the end of each week are always pretty creepy. I usually just skim them over but that's enough to get a sense of the kind of nonsense they come up with.
Mhmm, that's what I'm thinking. Pretty much anything they do outside of the normal experiments is just an effort to annoy us. The notes, the observations, that week with the tattoos...it's them just trying to get reactions out of us. Pretty childish, actually.
Definitely. I'll take silly little notes over an experiment like last week any day. [She's still recovering from her fun trip to surgery, dying and the resulting feelings of "everything's terrible"]
Honestly, I have no idea who I ended up with. I've been the only one in the room all day. So, let's hope I get lucky like you and end up with someone I can actually stand.

Yes. It definitely could have been worse.

[And she does just that before waving.]
I'm Minako. It's nice to meet you, Kate.
