Definitely prefer last week. [Because last week there weren't images of her sort of boyfriend being tortured being broadcasted to everyone in the Facility] A bunch of us are camping in the biodome. It's not much but it's something to do, I guess.
I definitely do too. Noises are easy to get used to, even if they become super sensitive. Screaming...not so much. [He hasn't dared look at his t.v. yet. He knows he's going to bust it the minute he does, and he rather do that later in the week when his nerves are at its wits end.]
Do yourself a favor and just...avoid the tv. Don't even look at it. In fact, you might be better off just smashing it right now. I'm sure your suitemates won't mind if you do.
Am I the only one who feels like just smashing the tv in won't do much in the long run? There's got to be more to it then just letting us get away with it.
Probably. Knowing this place, they'll probably just show up again good as new in a couple days.
But...I guess it's more of a form of stress relief than anything else. Obviously they want us to push the buttons. That's why they're doing this. If smashing things keeps people from falling into the trap, I guess I can't really object to it.
Spiting us is a very common theme in this place. At least that's what I'm learning.
Luckily one of my suitemates saved me the work of having to smash our tv. Honestly though, trashing things accomplishes two goals. It makes you feel better and gives the interns more work at the end of the week. It's something at least.
Neither would I. The buttons are obviously a trap. Val wouldn't just give us a way out like that. It's too easy. There has to be a catch. [Superhero paranoia, go!]
I had to check on my suitemate earlier. I'm worried that we have some young looking people around here dealing with this. It's too bad trashing things isn't a permanent victory of some kind.
Definitely a catch. [It's like the Joker saying he has a trick up his sleeve that will be fun. Never going to end well.]
Yeah, there's quite a few kids here. Which is pretty sick all on it's own, but this kind of tops all of that. And while it may not be a permanent victory, it's at least a minor inconvenience. That's probably the best we can do for now.
With things like this, there is never an easy way out. It just doesn't work like that.
My brother is here. Even if he's trained, I'm not quite too pleased that he's been here so long. And the fact that there are people his age who aren't used to this treatment. Well, if I could deal with whoever is doing this to us, I would.
You mean Damian? He seems like a tough kid but he's still way too young to be exposed to stuff like this. I don't think there's ever such a thing as getting used to this treatment, no matter how old you get or how much you've been through. And you're not the only one here who feels that way, trust me.
Never. That would defeat the whole purpose of doing this in the first place.
No one should be subjected to any of this, even if it ends up that it does. But I'm glad he's a stubborn kid. It makes it a little easier. Well being killed, you wouldn't get used to since you only die once. Torture, is a little bit of a different subject. [He's been through hell and back practically in that subject.]
True enough. I bet you never thought him being stubborn would actually turn out to be a good thing. [She's had someone say that to her before, at least] And, well, apparently that's not the case here. I've met people who have died two or three time while they've been here.
Oh, I was sure his stubbornness would be good. I was a very stubborn kid. Heck, I'm probably more stubborn now then I was before. [He's been told a lot of things. Damian constantly reminds him how immature he is.] And that number only intends to increase right?

That sounds like a good idea.

That's why I haven't touched mine. I know by the end of the week I'll be trashing the tvs and furniture or something.
Though I don't know why. I'd never touch those buttons.

I wonder how they don't get bored of this.

Homicidal sadists rarely get bored of their jobs.

That's why I'm not cut out to be one I guess.
