You doing okay over there?

[redripoff]

Yeah, I'm--rex, sweet hell--hang on. [grabs the berry and carries it with him to open the window and let the animal fly out. A few laps around the building can't hurt.] Sorry. I'm, uh. I'm fine. Tired. I don't know. What are you doing?

[aaaaaand, he flops back onto the bed. Hm. It's really comfy here.]

[artemisaim]

[She looks amused at the way the bat is freaking out, waiting patiently for Tim to let him outside and raising an eyebrow when he lays back down]

Nothing really. I keep hearing people say they feel weird but I feel completely normal. So you're feeling tired? Hopefully it's just from staying up too late too often.

[redripoff]

I don't know. [holding the berry above his head, arm stretched straight up] I'm not--tired, I just think about moving and then I don't move. I don't know. I think this place is messing with my head. Anyway, I've had this sleep schedule for years, it can't be deprivation.

You're not feeling anything?

[artemisaim]

Then it must just be the experiment. It seems like a lot of people are feeling weird, so it's probably safe to say this whole week is just going to be strange.

[She shakes her head] Nothing at all. [Of course, this is because Tim is like her and doesn't have any powers. She hasn't met anyone with powers to make her notice anything yet]

assuming she mentioned billy in passing at some point.

[redripoff]

Then you're lucky I guess. [mouth pulls to the side, like a facial shrug] How's Billy? You guys steering clear of the King?

She probably did. He's one of her best friends.

[artemisaim]

I guess so. Maybe that alone should worry me. [She frowns when he mentions Billy though] Actually, I haven't seen him in a few days. Knowing him, he probably managed to get lost or something.

[redripoff]

[that gets him a bit serious.] In this place? You should put out the bulletin. At least get him on the comm lines, y'know?

[artemisaim]

I know. I'm worried. I've been trying to find him or get in touch with him but...no such luck. I keep hoping he'll just show up or something, that he just got distracted or is stuck in the maze. I mean, with his powers, he's probably okay. He could do just about anything with those after all. He doesn't know how lucky he is to have-

[And then she blinks because what even...] Okay, that was weird.

[redripoff]

What's up?

[artemisaim]

Nothing. Nevermind. [Since when does she even care about Billy's powers?] Anyway, do you need anything? You don't look like you're moving any time soon.

[redripoff]

I'm going out in a few minutes. I'm fine. [oh my, defensive. But he does have to get up, if only to let the bat in that's banging at the window.] Lemme know if you get clued in to this week's experiment? I'll ask around too.

[artemisaim]

[And she'll just shrug because, meh, boys] Yeah, I'll see if I can find anything out. It probably has something to do with people feeling weird but that could easily just be this place. If I do get any kind of concrete answer, I'll let you know.
