Canada.

Have officially started to lose my mind.

Hallucinating large pile of gold where there are none and I swear I keep seeing India disappearing around a corner.

In the event that I have completely fallen off the wagon, you're in charge of imperial duties.

America is

Look after yourself.

[Audio] I can't not bother England 8| artemisaim April 14 2011, 23:33:04 UTC
[Here England, have a sixteen year old girl who has met America and actually believes he's really a nation because...why the hell not? Everything is weird forever]

So you're a nation too, I guess?

Kate Bishop. It's nice to meet you. It's also a bit weird, honestly. I've pretty much gotten over that part since meeting America, though.

Only natural, really. I'm sure it must be quite mind boggling to consider. Especially when you've ended up with someone like Alfred to represent you.

It is. Though compared to everything else, maybe it's not such an insane idea. As for America, he's really not so bad. But maybe I'm naturally inclined to think that. I have no idea how it works.

You're not particularly inclined to think anything of your nation. Your opinion is still your own; there are no fancy mind tricks going on here.

And you'll forgive me if I don't quite share your opinion.

I didn't really think you would. Depending on what point in history you're from, things probably aren't good between the two of you.

Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone's explained it to you yet but the illusions you're seeing are just an experiment. Everyone is seeing them so you're not going crazy.

1854 is what year I came from. Saying it like that, I sound like some kind of vintage wine.

I've been told, but thank you regardless.

In that case, it makes sense that you wouldn't like him very much. [She's not one to judge on the matter anyway. She just read about all these things in history books. England actually lived through it] Not that I really know much about what that era was like since I wasn't born until 1995.

1995? Good gracious, that is a long way off. Or it seems so to me.

Well, for you it is. So long that I don't even want to try to do the math. But for me it was only sixteen years ago. In my home world it's currently 2011. Maybe "currently" isn't the right word but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I think it's around... one hundred and fifty years, give or take a decade. 2011... seems impossibly far off to me.

Something like that. I'm sure it must seem like a long time from now, just like 1854 seems like a long time ago to me. It's just a matter of perception.
