Week 133 OOC Writeup
Hey, guys! Congratulations, you made it through Week One Hundred Thirty-Two. Dance, rats, dance.
First order of business, it’s Sunday, and time for reset. We are in Facility 1 and everything is as neat and sterile as ever.
Week 133 is Zombie Virus. At the start of the week, there will be 17 carriers (10% of the population). Everything will seem perfectly normal, except that there seems to be a case of the flu going around. 17 people will be running fevers, throwing up, and generally feeling sick. Come Monday, they'll be pale, very feverish, and have the charming desire to eat brains. Higher functions will check out, so that they will basically be drooling and muttering while they look for their next meal. They won't know who's a friend or an enemy, there will be no reasoning with them. Think stereo-typical zombie from a horror movie, just still alive.
They still have the strength or speed they had before they got sick, but they won't have enough reasoning to do anything complicated like spells or techniques or jutsus or whatever. Don't expect sneaky ambushes, just someone tearing your door down in the middle of the night to eat your brains.
The virus is contagious via bodily fluids. It will spread by biting, close contact, or being sneezed on. A character is contagious just six hours after they're infected, even before symptoms start to show up. They will start to show symptoms of the flu in 12 hours and will be zombiefied in 36 hours. Ignoring the timelines will result in mod swatting and deleted posts. Anyone acting like a zombie before mid-Monday or saying zombie before that will also get busted. It’s important for the carriers to have a chance to actually . . . carry the disease.
