Why Are There Televisions And Space Ships In The Wild West?

Aug 29, 2011 14:46

Who: John Watson, Sherlock Holmes
What: Sherlock and John ooh and ahh over cowboy gear and HD televisions
Where: The general store
When: Monday
Rating: R
Warnings: Standard Watson-Holmes schtuff.

There was John in his Stetson, riding boots, double hip holsters and dark brown duster. To deny that he looked good would be impossible. Even if Sherlock didn't approve of dressing up at all, John made quite the figure in his old fashioned soldier garb. He was currently eyeing a dark blue and gray waist coat and a saloon girl's ruffled skirt before he crouched down to retrieve a fob watch and cracked it open with a grin.

Why not be amused over little thngs?

The store was filled with all sorts of useful materials. Rope, hard tack, gear for horses, clothing, bullets-- And other not so useful things to a Wild West motifed world like engine fuel, flash grenades, and what he could guess were super light flak jackets. He had one on under his duster actually.

Just over head was, in fact, the television screen he mentioned to Sherlock through the mobile. It was playing a commercial featuring a woman drinking a sort of Asian inspired sports drink but a manufacturer called Blue Sun Inc.
