Summary: Bucky decides that Timothy needs to learn some survival tricks, and puts on the uniform to take him out to Hatter's Domain. Bonding between not-father and not-son ensues.
Rating: PG-13 for safety? Idk.
Warnings: Possible language from Bucky, monster killing, father-son bonding time, memories and FEELINGS are a possibility.
It feels nice to be back in uniform. Bucky has mostly recovered; his injuries aren't reopening anymore, and his arm feels healed up enough to move, though it still needs to stay wrapped tightly beneath the bulletproof fabric of his Captain America suit. And today he's feeling restless, ready to do something, ready to go somewhere. If he wanted a good bout of exercise, he could have gone somewhere else, but Hatter's Domain had the least-dangerous monsters out of all the places, and...
Well, Timothy had seemed restless, too.
Bucky still felt a little bad for grounding him the week before, so this survival lesson-slash-hunting trip is his apology, his way of saying 'I trust you'. And hell, it won't hurt the kid to learn to listen to his surroundings. He's killing two birds with one stone here. The train has just left, and they're standing at the stop, Bucky with his cowl on and his shield on his back. "You ready for this?"
