Sundays

I really love Sundays. Especially ones like today. After what seems like weeks of overcast weather, the sun is out! Granted, it's not exactly WARM, but seeing the sun makes me want to run out on the lawn and stretch my face skywards for a while. Like a big flower ( Read more... )

It's still Saturday here (for a few minutes, anyway). I spent this afternoon teaching myself how to make jewelry - I have friends visiting from out of state next week and I wanted to make us all matching necklaces as a memento.:)

It was definitely a learning experience, but I'm pretty pleased with the results!

Sundays are pretty much my favorite day of the week :)
I enjoy it, because I have church in the mornings, and then usually the whole afternoon off to catch up with friends etc. It's like one big family meeting on a sunday.
And then once a month, our church has an evening service too, but afterwards they provide dinner for everyone who comes, like tonight, there were like 3 different curries to eat! yum yum! lol

Now I better go to bed, cause I have Midnight shift at work, and that means NO sleep til tomorrow after 9am.

Ah, Sunday...after I finish my tea (and finish catching up with LJ) I have to get dressed and eat lunch before I go to archery practice. Then I come home, hop in the shower, and get back on the bus to go have tea with some folks downtown. When I get back from there (probably around, oh, seven or eight in the evening, knowing them), I have a new finished cross-stitch project to post and I should probably call my parents and let them know I'm planning to go visit them tomorrow. Oh, and wrap my mom's birthday present.

I haven't had a lazy Sunday in ages. At least I'm having fun. :D

I didn't know you did archery! Well you learn something new every day :) Sounds like a lovely day to me anyways, even if it's not lazy.

I've only been doing it for about a year, and I haven't been blogging about it regularly -- but man, archery is one of the most awesome things I've ever done. :D
