So I got a notification email today that someone had added one of my old, old Star Wars fanfics as one of their favourites.
So I went and read it. You know what's super-weird? I don't even remember writing it.

So I checked my fanfiction.net profile - I have 28 fics archived there. Holy crap. I used to write a lot. But now I haven't written ( Read more... )

That is truly sad! even if they were awful, they were still something you spent time writing. do you think any would be in the old Star Wars fic archives that are still floating around?

Thanks to you I have rediscovered my ff.net account. This is not exactly a good thing. XD I can't even bring myself to read my early fics, though I'm surprised some of them received comments from the past few months, despite being several years old!

I've had a hankering for LOTR lately... *eyes dvds*

LOL! I read some of my first ones, then my last ones, and I could tell the difference! Damn, I think I may have even written some decent stuff, even if I do say so myself :)
It's weird, every now and then i'll get a ff.net notification - SOMEBODY out there is reading these fics! How they are finding ours amoungst the thousands is quite another miracle.
Man, I don't have TIME to watch LOTR any more. and I don't want to spoil the magic by skipping the scenes I don't love!
