Hehe, I agree. I'm going to watch anyway, at the very least it's entertaining. All the kids are going to be exhausted tomorrow, I know at least 20 students who'll be staying up for it. God help all us teachers...it's going to be exhaustion induced tantrums all afternoon.

Lol! I wonder if you'll get any notes from parents saying "Johnny was unable to make it to school today due to tiredness from staying up all night to watch the football".

I hope my boss realises she's not going to get any decent work out of me tomorrow :p

I'm going to sleep early, then getting up to watch, then hopefully getting back to sleep for a few more hours

That's what I ended up doing - and suprisingly I wasn't totally shattered today! Totally worth it :)

lol IM heading to bed for an hour and a half or so, then Im getting up to watch it too! I figure it's going to be ALL the conversation tomorrow and I want to be able to witness the win/draw/loss and say I saw it.

It's a historic event I figure!

Me in 40 years time to my grandkids:

"I remember back in that grand year of 2006, when the Australian Soccer Boys went head to head with the world's best team, Brazil! They won/lost, of course! But I remember getting out of bed to watch the game at the wee hours of the morning. The whole nation held it's breath with anticipation!"

*blink, blink* Oi! You awake yet? lol Can you remind me why Im doing this again?

No offence to any Brazillians out there, but their team isn't quite as crash hot as I expected them to be. lol... I don't even get good looking guys to watch at this hour. God, where's the rugby when you need it!

So we lost, but at least we don't have a player named 'ca-ka' on our team! lol

I agree about the Brazillians - I don't know whether I was expecting ball work like the Harlem Globetrotters or what, but they certainly didn't make our boys look like fools!

Some of the Socceroos are hot though ;)
