I know I'm behind on the times.

So, I have the LJ and the DW, the Skype and the Facebook. But I feel, in a way, that I have lost track of some people because they've also migrated to things like Twitter and Tumblr, which I do not have. And I'm wondering if I should be a sheep and get those too, to find and follow the people who's* posts I enjoyed when LJ was the centre of my ( Read more... )

Also, I found Tumblr to be redundant, but I didn't really have any friends on there. I find Twitter amusing, because I can stalk famous people and pretend we are friends. I do have a couple actual friends on there, including ervinai who doesn't much post anywhere else anymore. I would say that if you think you're going to get enough entertainment and interaction out of a site, then go for it. And of course, if you try a new site, and don't like it, there's always an option to cancel or just ignore it. If you do get a Twitter, I am @tirlaeyn. I don't post on there much though, and when I do it's mostly bitching about Facebook or just stuff that I don't want most of my FB friends seeing.

Yeah I have a hard time justifying a tumblr since I already have Lj and dw but at the same time I have a couple of friends who only have that. I also sort of feel like not being on there zomg I might miss something cool.

And twitter does appeal for the following of cool/funny celebs, and all that.
