Series' end

This entry is more for diea than anyone else, but hey....

Found Confessor at the library the other day, so I have now read the entire series. YAY! I am well satisfied, despite a bit of extraneous speechifying some characters seemed to be impelled to do. Sometimes I want to yell at the characters, or Terry Goodkind, that, y'know, hey, been reading this ( Read more... )

could you save me a few hours of reading and let me know how it ended? When i heard that there was going to be three more books I cringed inside. I just got attached to the characters and LOVE Kahlan ( not so much Richard-he can be annoying). Do they ever have that evil baby?

I hate lj. Srsly. I tried to write a short summary, but it got a bit long winded, and I was going to post it in two parts, and then lj screwed up and it's all gone ( ... )

After finishing Confessor I only felt let down. The series is so long and repetitive, yet there seemed like there was a bunch that was never resolved. Goodkind could have cut down at least two books by not having Kahlan be attacked and almost raped all the damn time. I confess myself disappointed.

I have my issues with the series, I admit. I certainly felt parts of the last book was like, "Quick, how many past favourite characters can I mention in a sentence?!" But, y'know. Happily ever after even if it took way longer than necessary.
