Heh. There's not a single male on my f-list. (_shadesofnight & mitteny don't count; they're fictional. *gasp* Blasphemy, I know) I have a few males who have me listed as a friend, but, well, none of them update or comment, so they hardly count either. I only have like one boy on my flist too. Either it's because the fandoms I'm involved with don't have many guys, hence less opportunities for friends, or more girls use LJ than guys anyway. Hmmmm. *ponder*

Only mitteny is offended? I guess I can assume that _shadesofnight is quietly plotting my torure and death at the hands of Death Eaters Unknown... *smirks* It's okay, I have multitudes of characters both from fandoms and entirely of my creation that live, breathe, and have opinions they voice inside my head.

Yes, I do get the feeling that part of it is I don't explore more guy-oriented fandoms. I actually know of a handful of guys with ljs but I just never really associated enough with them in real life to keep a connection through the lovely world of el jay.

No, the ugly person was some guy on myspace. I almost wish I'd saved the picture if only I were cruel enough to post someone's pictures and make a mockery of his bad looks.
