Somehow Wes, I am reminded of these lines from Tennyson's Ulysses. I'm sure you know them, but like all great poetry they bear repeating from time to time:
Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho' We are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,-- One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
And whatever else they might say about you Wesley, no matter how terrible the burden or torturous the pain, you did not yield. You have always fought the good fight.
