In case you don't know, The Mean Fiddler have applied for planning permission to demolish London gig venue The Astoria (and The LA2, aka The Mean Fiddler etc) to re-develop as shops and offices.

Now I'm sure you all appreciate just exactly how much we all need even more shops and offices at the

They can't kill that venue. I first saw Nine Inch Nails there, and a bunch of other bands. I love it's dirty typical rock venue feel & they can't kill it for more pants shops!!

I've still not been myself but i know how it does hold great bands there and it would be such a shame if they did that. What are they thinking!!
