that is not a southern accent. More approriately it is the lack of an accent in american dialects. Southern is more twangy, go to southern illinois or indiana and you would understand.

"The South" is in my top three, according to the chart. This test is bogus! I do have a NY accent, it just isn't really strong like people who grew up in the city. It also depends on who I'm talking, what I'm saying, and if I'm mad.
