the thing that really gets me is that they say that gays are just marrying for the benefits and insurance. when did marrying for money, insurance, legal immigration status, etc, ever stop in heterosexuals? when you can stop that, then you can put limits on same sex life partners who want the same.

i think that when you boil it down to the basics, marriage is the union between two people that love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. even though i'm a Christian, who am i to say what two people get married? dick and jane? jane and mary? dick and john? blah...too much thought is put into gay marriage...its not that big a deal...honestly!
