May I point out that I am an accomplished pool player?

I have been studying the works of one of my Starfleet predecessors, Malcolm Reed. A brilliant person for a human.

A fact of which I'm well aware. But you gave me the impression last time that you felt the game was too 'easy', as it was a matter of simple geometry. Well, if you've changed your mind, I would love to play with you. Check the duty roster--I'm not sure if we're on the same shift for the next few days or not. Perhaps chakotay would be willing to make a few changes.

Mr. Chakotay would change into a humpback whale if you ordered him, Captain. Perhaps we could observe this phenomemon the next time we approach a waterborne planet or geographic oddity?

That may have once been (figuratively) true, but I tend to doubt that now.

I have observed that human males have the attention spans of small dogs--tempted by bits of cheese one day, unwilling to have anything to do with the cheese giver the next. It is an odd pheneomenon. On the other hand, Vulcan males are quite attentive over a long period of time.

Would you like more coffee, Captain?
