Oh, then theres the rest of us

The ones out here blowin' in the wind
Tryin' to find what we shoulda been
Makin' our choices hopin were right
Livin' on the prayers we say at night
Tryin' to out run the devil and the pain
Learnin' to live with what we cant change
God bless the rest of us

001. It's been a couple weeks, so I think I've come to terms with the finale. I still don't know how satisfied I am with the conclusion of the mythos. My experience was the series has been so spread out (and has a twelve-episode gap), so I can't be sure of that until I rewatch the whole series. I THINK I'm satisfied with it (or as satisfied as anyone's ever going to be with the conclusion to a myth arc), and that's enough for now. After all, the questions and the mysteries and the "what if" have always been a natural draw, but it's only now that I realize that I was more invested in the characters than I was the mythos. I think most everyone arrived at a place I was okay with. I even liked Jack in S6, and I hadn't liked him since early in the series ( ... )

001. I think that's kind of what the series has always been about - the people, the way they loved, lived, and fought together or alone. So as far as the mytho's goes, I can be okay with a few things left having been un-explained because I'd rather focus more on the characters themselves and the relationships they had with each other ( ... )

I don't know. In S1, I liked Locke as the man of faith and found Jack's man of science approach irritating. In S2, Locke almost killed Desmond and I found myself siding with Jack. But it wasn't long before I disliked both of them. I guess it's just a different strokes thing. I certainly wouldn't say you're wrong for liking Jack ( ... )

That sucks about the coworker! It's amazing how some people can still be so immature, even as they age.

I'm so sorry about your aunt! I'm glad she's doing better though and I hope she makes a full recovery. *hugs*

I totally agree about Alice in Wonderland! I saw it a while ago when it came to theaters and I really enjoyed it! :)

No shit and this is a grown man we're talking about, he just lost his head for some reason and it was over something entirely stupid. What made it even worse, is when I physically removed myself from the situation and walked away, he still followed me yelling at me and making a scene. Ugh.

That's okay, hun. Thanks a lot for the thoughts, I really do appreciate that. I have no doubts that she'll be okay, she's a tough one. :)

I wish I could have seen it in theatres, I just didn't have the time and was pretty much busy. So I waited for dvd. I'm gonna have to buy it now, lol.

002. Grrr, I hate people with bad days. I avoid them because I know I'll get yelled at, even if I didn't do anything wrong.

003. Sorry to hear about your aunt! :(

007. Besides graduating, nothing else knew in my life.

002. There was just no avoiding this guy at all, as much as I tried to and even while removing myself from the situation, he still followed me. It was just the dumbest thing ever and over nothing really.

003. Thank you, bb. I think she'll be okay.

007. OMG! Congrats, bb. ♥

002. It tends to always be over the dumbest things any way.

003. Let's hope so. I hate it when doctors seem to not have a clue. It's scary when even they don't know.

007. Thanks! :)

002. This is true, too.

003. I hate that, as well. It seemed like they were flip-flopping when they were diagnosing my grandfather and telling us one thing and then telling us something else entirely different the next visit, during the last year of his life. It got to be pretty damn frustrating. But, I think she'll pull through this one. lol.

007. Totally welcome. :)

Stupid co-workers, stupid attitudes. Grow the frak up, please. Done now.

*nods*

I'm SO sorry about your aunt, bb. Hope she gets better soon. *hugs*

Crap, when it really hits - it just frakking hits at once.

Yeah, it has a habit of doing that, doesn't it? =(

005. OMG. I can't believe that the season finale for Glee is next week, I'm kinda REALLY EXCITED for it but I'm also kinda sad...do not want a summer hiatus.

IKR?! Especially after the other hiatus we've already had to go through with Glee, ugh. Thankfully, I have tons of stuff lined up for this hiatus.

Oh, but my little shipper heart is just beating ninety to nothin'. ♥

Color me v. curious. ;-)

007. I miss you guys, a lot. What's up in your world?! Tell me, I wanna know what I've been missing.

Nothing much for me... I FINALLY passed my Exam From Hell (Anatomy II) on the 24th and I've been pretty much lazing around ever since, watching tv shows ( + the movie A Single Man) and reading fanfic. ^^''

Oh, I really liked Tim Burton's Alice. :3 The customs were indeed very lovely.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. *HUGS* I wish her all the best.

Glee finale is next week? Eeek. Wow, I can't believe season one is over already. It's been a roller coaster ride with that show, for sure.
