I've just finished watching Spain vs the USA in the confederates cup. it's so weird to watch football with US commentators whose commentary is peppered with phrases from NFL and NBA on top of the standard sprinkling of time filling inanities. Some examples include

I'm not really sure why I even wrote this post. I can't actually think of anyone I know who follows international football and who also regularly reads my blog. I was just so fired up after the game I needed to write something and it ended up being about about the commentary and Ramos being a toolbag.
