I cannot comment on most of these things because LOL SPOILERS BECAUSE NBC IS THE WORST.

But I will say that I LOVE beach volley ball. That's possibly my favorite Olympic sport to watch. The swimming events are fun too. I kind of like watching the rowing events because my bff/roommate rowed for our university and thus I know way more about the sport than anyone not actually interested in the sport should know. Whitewater canoe and kayak is also super fun.

Also, someone I went to high school with is a medal contender in the 200 M sprint for track and field, so I like to watch her run. The high jump and pole fault and long jump are also fun to watch.

LOL IT'S SO SAD/DUMB, SUDDENLY LIKE TEN HOURS LATER MY DASHBOARD IS FLOODED WITH AMERICANS JUST FINDING OUT WHAT HAPPENED, puck you NBC. Also Sochi is going to kill me. I CAN'T WATCH OLYMPIC HOCKEY ON TIME DELAY. THAT CAN'T HAPPEN. WHAT WILL I DOOOOO

lol I haven't watched any beach volleyball at all. Mostly I've been watching gymnastics recently, and some of the pool events. I wish they'd show some of the stranger things on TV more, like badminton or fencing or something. I missed the whole fencing drama from yesterday because CTV hasn't talked about it at all.

They haven't done any track events yet have they? That's next week?

Maybe the hokey players can just play in the middle of the night in Sochi. lol. TIME DIFFERENCES SUCK. They sucked less though before the internet was such a big thing. Nowadays though, it's really hard to avoid finding out results before they air in your time zone ( ... )

I figured I wouldn't be that into it because it's Summer Olympics and lol Canada, but I've been watching it every day and I'm pretty involved. I feel like I can't look away from the TV until the day's events end.

The 200m butterfly was CRAZY loll, such a close race.

It's got me so conflicted, on one hand I feel like I need to see it all on the other hand I feel like I'm wasting my precious freedom.

Oh wait, maybe I saw it, was it the one that he was just edged out by the South African swimmer?

We can talk about beach volleyball and how The USA was enraged with Poland, beacuse they lost (I mean, the USA). Especially, I loved the comments on twitter about Poland not having costline (apparently :D) and the beach in St Tropez being the closest in Poland (in Europe?). Seriously. twitter whatthefuck?

To be honest, I haven't watched anything about Olympics, but want to see the opening, before I decide to watch anything. AAAGGHrRRH.

lol so is the US pressed about losing to Poland in volleyball, am I understanding that correctly? I don't know anything about volleyball so I can't comment much either way. Is the US out now then or what? IDK how volleyball works.

I didn't think I'd care because it's summer games but I've been loving it!

I KEEP THINKING ABOUT HOW THE TIME DIFFERENCE FOR SOCHI IS GOING TO BE KILLER AND I'LL PROBABLY HAVE A JOB OR SOMETHING I GUESS. UNLESS I'M IN BRITAIN IN 2014. IN WHICH CASE THE TIME DIFFERENCE WON'T BE AS BAD BUT HOW WILL I WATCH HD OLYMPIC HOCKEY, KELLY

THINKING TOO FAR AHEAD? NEVER

but seriously OLYMPIC HOCKEY ON TIME DELAY??? I CANNOT

omg it was so intense. South AFrica is one of my adopted~ teams to root for lol because two of my BFFs are South African, so it was extra fun drama~ for me.

LOL HOPE YOU'RE IN BRITAIN THEN!

Otherwise IT WILL HAVE TO BE TIME DELAY. YOU WILL HAVE TO AVOID THE INTERNET AT ALL COSTS UNTIL IT PLAYS.

I'm unemployed and sitting at home all day. /o\

But my brother has been living in the living room, rendering it uninhabitable for the simple act of watching tv for pleasure. And he's moving tomorrow and taking 95% of the living room suite with him, so... No tv for me.

I like watching swimming. I swam the butterfly in high school.

Boo!

Swimming isn't my favourite to watch but the 200m men's butterfly this afternoon was very intense.
