This is one of my favorite Community episodes ever. I'm a straight up Civil War nerd, and Ken Burns' "The Civil War" is one of my favorite things ever, so this episode was pretty much everything I never knew I needed in life until tonight.

It was excellent! It's up there for me too. I've never sat down and made a list but it was definitely one of the best theme episodes and #2 of this season for me.

HOW COULD PEOPLE BE DISAPPOINTED? This is one of the best episodes of season 3, SO MANY JOKES. IDEK. I loved everything that this episode chose to be. It was funny and clever, but it also had some really great character moments.

OH SHOW. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME LOVE YOU AGAIN. I think the show is the most effective when it carries through its weirdness and innovative stylings consistently throughout an episode, which is why the theme episodes work so well.

I've seen a few people be "meh" about the episode (one person I'm following even said it was the last straw that made her finally quit the show), but as a huge history nerd I thought all of the history documentary things were so excellent.

YES I was so happy to have an episode I really really loved, because I've enjoyed the others since the hiatus but not to the same degree. When the show really commits to a theme, it can do it so well.

The end was cute. I'm surprised they resolved Troy/Abed so quickly, but maybe the rest of the tension will shake out over the rest of the season, who knows.

This is in my top five favorite episodes for this entire show. The only reason Remedial Chaos Theory takes the cake for this season is because of my fondness for alternate universes and Doctor Who jokes. That aside, this was so brilliant and I just loved it. Again, history nerd and I love Ken Burns. I actually got to hear him speak one time and it was so cool.

Love love love love this episode.

Remedial Chaos Theory wins because I think it was funnier overall and said more about the whole cast instead of just Troy + Abed, but this episode WAS really great and the documentary style was so well executed.
