I. My Christmas break is finally drawing to a close on Monday. I've just got two classes to finish up my degree this semester -- one of them is a seminar with some long title called something like "Science Fact and Science Fiction", and one of them is a linguistics class about writing systems. The sci-fi course is sort of the replacement for the seminar I had signed up for which was cancelled. I'm not sure how much I'll like the actual material we read, but I've had the prof before and I like her and one of my good friends is in the class with me, so that's nice at least. I'm hoping the ling class is fun! I'm actually done all the credit reqs for my linguistics minor so I had room for an elective, but the course sounded interesting.

Keeley Hawes was so free of flaws in "Ashes to Ashes", but idrc about Othello. Hm. But the version of the Canterbury Tales with her, John Simm and Billie seems super promising.

You should make a post full of dumb things people are saying on tumblr about Moffat. I would, but it's kind of Herculean task and I'm too lazy.
