THIS WAS SO PRECIOUS.

I love when you write me fic bb. Especially fic with Cloen-angst, which could basically be a sub-genre of your stories.

"I just think it looks like..." She paused again, searching for the right word. "Like a cheap imitation. Not the genuine article, you know?"

AND THIS IS WHEN I KNEW MY CHRISTMAS WISHES WERE GOING TO BE ANSWERED.

"The point of wrapping the gift is to prolong the surprise by concealing what it is." The Doctor held his chin a bit higher, as if daring her to argue. "So I'd say I excelled."

lmao. Cloen. This is how what's-his-face from LA w/o a Map would probably wrap presents as well.

"Wouldn't want our first Christmas together overshadowed by an alien invasion."

She was smiling, but the Doctor wasn't. "Second," he said softly.

TOTAL SUCKER FOR CLONE and/or CLOEN ANGST.

Thank you soooo much bb!!!!

LOL IT IS TRUE Cloen angst is probably my most frequently-visited genre.

lmao. Cloen. This is how what's-his-face from LA w/o a Map would probably wrap presents as well.

It's how I wrap presents, tbh. I'M WITH CLOEN. THE MORE CONFUSED THEY ARE BY THE OBSCURE GEOMETRIC SHAPE, THE BETTER.

I am glad you enjoyed it bb. And also glad that for whatever reason your prompt ~spoke to me~ because it felt nice to actually write a whole fic in one night again.

HEY. It's a very good genre.

LOL I am a pretty good present-wrapper, but sometimes I'll be convinced that THE SHAPE IS SO OBVS OMG and I'll like pad it with plastic bags and then put the wrapping paper around THAT. So I understand.

I clearly am going to have to brainstorm more prompts then. WRITE ME ALL OF THE FIC Kali.

This is adorable. I've missed this pairing, I'd forgotten how much I've missed this pairing. You are brilliant.

NEGL, that is kind of how I felt writing it! It was nice to write something with a beginning and end and actually finish it and stuff. Thanks for reading bb, glad you enjoyed it!

Also thanks to goldy_dollar, whom I strong-armed into reading Doctor Who fic by making her beta something for me. Hurray!

LOL BRB MAKING A VAMPIRE DIARIES POST.

I liked this exchange best:

"I thought maybe..." He took a deep breath. "I was worried that maybe you didn't like seeing me in that coat because I'm not exactly the genuine article myself."

Rose gave his hands a tug, and when he looked up to meet her eyes he saw her expression was somewhere between disbelief and amusement. "That's completely daft," she said.

Because even though Rose is so right, they will probably have this conversation another 100 times over the rest of their lives.

lol yes I think poor Rose will probably be dealing with similar crises until the end of time. AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES FIC FUN.

Thanks for braving Google Docs with me bb!

Wow, that coat prompt is sure seeing a lot of action, and I, for one, couldn't be happier. This was wonderful. I love the Doctor's initial joy in finding a coat and then how angsty and emo he is when Rose doesn't react to it the way he hoped, and then of course how he is totally wrong about what Rose was thinking, and then his reaction to the coat. Of course she had one made for him. Sweet and adorable and a great second first Christmas for them.

Aw, thank you! And haha YES the coat prompt seems very popular and I am delighted by it. I liked the idea of Rose having a coat custom-made for him and it all sort of ended up spawning from there.

Oh yes! Christmas angst! XD

I love the Doctor's rationale about wrapping presents. Most of mine end up like that anyway.

And little details like this are so telling: "Speaking of packaging, you've been wearing that blue suit a lot lately." :( Poor Cloen. Rose, how can you not pick up on that?

She more than made up for it with that present though. I love that she had the whole coat made from memory. That must have taken some careful observation. ;)

Thanks for sharing!

lol my goal when warpping gifts is totally just "CONCEAL WHAT IT IS". It doesn't necessarily have to be a particular shape, right?

I'm glad you liked that detail! I debated a little about whether or not I should put it in.

That must have taken some careful observation. ;)

Haha ikr. ROSE HAS A GREAT MEMORY, OKAY.

Thanks for reading!
