I am up at goldy_dollar's cottage for the weekend! Last night we drove through a crazy storm which seemed to last forever, but the weather here today was really nice -- nice enough that I am now quite burnt in various places. HURRAH. lol poor John Barrowman's face. I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MEAN BUT I WAS THINKING IT. Also his hair was weird.

Gwen's new hair and look were so cute though. I want to move in with her and Rhys more than the Ponds tbh.

I guess because Eleven's world feels so far away from RTD's Who, I'm not as bothered by the lack of tie-in anymore? Like I think I have accepted that mentioning the Doctor/Sarah Jane/Martha Jones/whatever would just be confusing for the American audience. I dunno, it jibes in my head somehow.

I don't think they're trying to glorify Oswald. He's clearly being used by those mask guys in the trailers. He's clearly The Bad Guy.

I think Miracle Day is going in a good direction. Especially since Gwen is now completely an HBIC.

LOL omg I know, I'm being sarcastic because so many Torchwood fans have whined about how they won't watch a show that glorifies pedophilia like RTD is trying to do. When he is obviously not doing that at all, and has said that Oswald's upcoming celebrity is meant to be disturbing and a sign of how far gone the world is.

I want Martha and Mickey to show up on Torchwood. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK RTD? Make Noel and Freema clear their schedules! :(

I thought this episode was good set up and showed a lot of promise, so I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

Yeah, it was al ot of exposition and stuff, but I think the premise is interesting so it'll be fun to see where it goes from here and to see the characters settle in a bit more and stuff.
