I. This week felt loooong. I am not sure why, really, since in theory it was no different from any other week, but oh my god was I glad to finish work today. It’s Thanksgiving weekend, so we get Monday off as well, which is swell. Thanksgiving tends to be something of a non-event in my house, and this year my dad’s in Beijing so it’s just me and my

REALLY AND TRULY
I will always treasure this week's Office for JAM's pissy mumbling scene.
FUCK YEAH HERMIONE AND TOSH
Those two (and Martha, I think) should form an AWESOME LADIES WHO SAVE ALL THE THINGS WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS OFF DICKING AROUND club.
Your dad always travels to awesome places. At some point you should force him to take you along.

I didn't know I wanted to see Andy perform in a Sondheim musical until I saw Andy perform in a Sondheim musical. omg lol "omigosh did you write this?" "no... it's Stephen Sondheim..." "Oh, who's that?"
I CONSIDERED PUTTING MARTHA WITH HERMIONE but Tosh won on account of being an actual genius. BUT THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY FORM A CLUB. IT CAN BE LIKE A SPINOFF OF THE FINER BAMF CLUB. THE UNDERAPPRECIATED BAMF CLUB.
Ugh I KNOW. HDhe work for a company that has money. lirl

And yes, yes, YES to Tosh. For various reasons, I couldn't stomach 'Torchwood', but, from what little of it I did watch, she was the bright, shining star. I felt so bad that her alien!girlfriend had to be evil - they were cute together, until, y'know, they weren't anymore since alien!girlfriend was evil...
I would be very, very happy to see some S5 fic from you in the future! Espeically if it has Rory! *shining anime-like eyes of hope*

Yeah poor Tosh, the narrative is cruel to her. I ended up liking Gwen (and Rhys) a lot in COE, but in s1 and s2 it was pretty much all just Tosh, lol.
Oh, any s5 fic I write will probably feature Rory heavily, since he is... my favourite of the s5 gang, lol. The fic does not seem to be cooperating at the moment though, unfortunately. It sounds better in my head than it does in print.

Also, I adore Hermione. I identify with her a lot. I had a tendency to be that really obnoxious know-it-all kind when I was younger. And even though she is awesome and amazing and wonderful, she isn't a saintly and perfect character either. With SPEW her heart is in the right place, but she is doing an awful lot of White Knighting. And she can sink to Ron's level sometimes like in HBP when she invites Cormac as her date to Slughorn's Christmas party. But really I love her. One of my favorite characters in the entire series.

Yeah, definitely. Hermione has her flaws as a character to balance out her AWESOME POWER, but she's great. I appreciate her more now than I did when I first read the books, and especially on this reread of DH. Damn girl, you're saving everyone!

Oh, Tosh. She's the only bearable character on TW.

LOL Correct. I warmed to Gwen in COE, but I found her irritating in s1 and s2.

Ah. Yeah, we're like that sometimes. Just ignore us.
Anddd we don't do Black Friday! Which.. solves that.
YOU DON'T START THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH ONE DAY OF HELLISH SHOPPING, OVERCROWDED STORES, AND CONSUMERS BEING TRAMPLED ALL IN THE NAME OF MATERIALISTIC CHRISTMAS GLEE? *can't remember the last time she ventured out to shop on BF*
LOL Correct. I warmed to Gwen in COE, but I found her irritating in s1 and s2.
Eh, I was never too fond of Gwen. Then again, cheating/adultery is a huge turn-off for me.

Yeah, I think that was a large part of what I didn't like about her in s1 and s2. In COE there was none of that tomfoolery -- plus RTD was writing and I tend to love how he writes women -- so I was able to ~embrace~ her character more.
