IV. You may have noticed my general "Whatevs, guize, do what you want" attitude about the ficathon during the planning stages. That's because I have the exact same relationship with prompted ficathons. Especially commentfic ones because I feel all this ~time pressure and usually it takes me at least a week to mull over a prompt before I even start writing. That is, when I can handle the prompts at all.

I was going to post my crack AU idea from yesterday as a prompt, but then I decided to horde it for myself.

I like comment ficathons more in theory because the fic output is smaller and it's less of a commitment and whatever. But I can usually never come up with anything anyway, so it ends up not mattering what style the ficathon is.

lol I horde all my good ideas too. Lately I've been more into writing fic than reading it which doesn't help.

That is basically me with every ficathon ever. Except I usually never actually make it to the part where I write stuff.

I will cut (in the violent and lj sense of the word) anyone who uses fb connect on my entries.

I wrote like 300 words last night but they are now homeless and unlikely to ever progress beyond that point. I still weep for my nonexistence femgen fics too.

UGH IKR. I mean, I don't have any Facebook info connected to my lj, and those of you who are also friends with me on Facebook aren't friends with any of my RL people, but it's still an uncomfortable possibility. Livejournal why are you the way that you are.
