Every year I am like, "no, I will not vote in fandom march madness this year, it will lead nowhere good" and yet every year...

WOULD IT HAVE HURT THEM TO INCLUDE A TOKEN GEEK GIRL AS A REGULAR? WOULD IT????

There was a token geek girl. I really liked her. Fandom (from what I understand) did not, because she was too cold and/or a slut.

Also I don't think she's on the show anymore.

W/e I flounced from BBT when there was an episode about how Geek 1 and Geek 2 had made a pact that if one of them ever got a hot girlfriend they would get the other one of her hot friends. Clearly "hot" was the key word here since both of them had had girlfriends in earlier seasons and this pact was never discussed.

But obviously their girlfriends should not ~judge~ them based on their appearance. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE SHALLOW.

I have not seen this trailer. IT SOUNDS LIKE A BRILLIANT MOVIE FROM THE TITLE ALONE.

Is it starring a slim, Hollywood blonde and the guy from Knocked Up?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WHY WOULD YOU LINK ME TO THIS KALI?

ALSO, I NOTICE YOU CAN "GET RATED" ON THEIR WEBSITE. AHHHHHH.

LOL I even raged at my poor unsuspecting friend when the trailer came on in the theatre.

I wouldn't mind if I thought there was a snowball's chance in hell of someone making a similar movie except with awkward girls and attractive guys, but since that will never happen

APPROPRIATE TV TROPES LINK HERE.

EXACTLY. I mean, IT DOES SOMETIMES HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE, BUT IT ALSO GOES THE OTHER WAY. My ex boyfriend was technically hot, at least, according to my friends, and I am most definitely normal looking. (No, I don't fail at heterosexuality, why do you ask?) But my parents are totally like Homer and Marge except my dad is a douche and my mum's hair is shorter.

...

No, I don't know what I'm saying either. MOVIES SUCK. NOW HAVE A GIF OF A SMART DOG.

Yeah if the fail was mutual I could accept it. But instead it all contributes to this idea that every woman needs to be a ~perfect 10~ but that that guys can hold out for those ~perfect 10s~ as long as they are ~beautiful on the inside~.

OMFG THAT DOG IS MY HERO

I LOVE HOW THE DOG IS LIKE "OMNOMNOM" WHILE THE OWNER CONTINUES TO FLAIL ON THE GROUND.

That dog is awesome. I can only hope our new dog is that awesome.

Our first dog could open the fridge, lirl. We would come home and the hot dogs would be gone.

That's AMAZING. I WANT A DOG LIKE THAT.

My landlady's are not tall enough for those sorts of shenanigans. They mostly stick with stealing my slippers and trying to get dirt on my trousers. One of them is going to Crufts on Friday, so apparently he is better trained when he's jumping through hoops than when he's trying to eat my hand.

Our new dog will be short as well so he may be less successful with these shenanigans. It'll be weird to have a dog that actually like, walks around and does things and stuff. Our last dog was not very mobile for the last ....idk... several years of his life.

I do not understand what everyone loves about this show. I've seen like 5 minutes of it, and it was enough to give me simultaneous feminist rage and nerdrage. It's like the geek version of a minstrel show, I just do not get why any self-respecting geek would not be able to see that.
