Looking for that temple with the ibises...

It's been a day or three since Ez received those charms from Djehuty, and he's come to repay the deity for the gift. Dressed casually as usual, he travels among the temples, looking for Dejhuty's...

Hooked over a shoulder is a backpack, and inside it are a few books and papers - choice ones out of Ez's collections.

Djehuty, unfortunately, is out at the moment, wrestling with magic. His ibises and baboons, though, keep an eye on the small house-like temple as usual. As soon as she spots the traveler, one of the black and white birds strides over and tilts her head inquisitively.

((Sorry for the delay! I was offline for a few days.))

"Hello," says the man to the bird amiably. "I've come with a few things for Djehuty - repayment for a gift." He gestures at his pack. Ez's demeanor towards the ibis is intentionally polite and respectful... the proper sort of way to behave in a place like this, after all.

((No problem! :D))

The bird bobs her head up and down, and then hunts for a twig she can use to scrawl in the dirt.

Djehuty out; so sorry; please leave in the temple. Most kind. The birds seem to have picked up their diction from their boss.

"I understand," Ezekiah says, and half-bows to the ibis. He proceeds on towards and, presuming it's open, into the temple, making sure not to get in the way of any of the animals along the way.
