This was good. I laughed at the 'look at the beautiful wallpaper' bit.

I also knew exactly what Danny meant when he said he figured Steve would be a pureblood. I think Steve would be the only person who wouldn't understand immediately. It's because he's so perfect, him being 'old blood' would just be the way it went! Which is why I also love that you didn't make him one!

Only one complaint, I would think Danny would have a lot more to say about Steve had been erasing his memory! I think he would be very willing indeed to share his thoughts about that...loudly...and at length (putting it mildly!).

You have a point about complaining more about being obliviated, but...it just didn't seem to fit. I'm sure Danny will bring it up again, though ;)
