It happens... trust me. If you hang out and get emotionally attached to someone, a sexual/heightened emotional attraction is going to form as well.

I've been dating my best friend (whom I knew for over a year before dating) for over seven years now. It's not so bad, really... It makes the best, most fun and understanding relationships.
