Dex was busy paying the monthly bills and looked up with a smile as she showed him her purchases. He was glad to see her happy. "Adorable," he told her. His hand reached out and ran over her small belly. "You are glowing, you know that?"

She felt a tug in her stomach but dismissed it, thinking it might be her womb making more space. But when it intensified she cried out and fell on her knees.

Dex bolted out of the bed and gasped when he found her on the floor. "Elizabeth!" The blood is what scared him the most.

He picked her up and carried her to the sofa. "I'll call Casey," he told her, grabbing floo powder and calling out for his father-in-law.
