That's an awesome tattoo idea! Just make sure you can cover it up easily, in case you get one of those jobs where you have to look respectable.
There will be an issue with size...I assume you don't want a giant one, but you can't get it too small, because over time the letters will bleed together and eventually you won't be able to read what it says at all. Have you seen my cousin's tattoo? He has script on his wrist, the letters only about a quarter-inch tall, and now it's bled so much you can't even read it. And he only got it like 4 or 5 years ago.
Do you know where you're going to get it? If you don't have a place in mind, you should check out River City Tattoo, and ask for Matt. I've seen him do a few, and he's pretty good. I'd tell you to go to Adam, because he's got the kind of imagination that can convert an idea into something eerily iconic, but he works at the shop in Killeen, and I know you don't want to make that drive.
My friend who has a lot of tattoos has suggested Amillion Tattoos in Austin. I looked on the website and the guy my friend suggested does awesome work. But I dunno. I'm definitely going to wait a while before I get it so that I'm sure.
I will definitely go in beforehand and discuss the size. If he feels that the tattoo would have to be super big in order for it to work, I will probably just get the quote and not the typewriter.
I'll keep your suggestions for a place in mind as well. I don't want to get a shitty looking tattoo for sure.
So what have you been up to lately? I'm really bored and depressed. We should hang out sometime soon in Austin. Let me know when you are free. I'm always free.
