auntietan, it's been 11 days since 19/12 when I posted up topups/collection page. The last mailing date will be 4th January, Thursday, after which I will just send your item out as and when I'm free so don't blame me if you receive your item in February or something. Topups is to be received by 3rd Jan.
28/12: Normal mail items have been mailed out yesterday night. Registered articles, I was supposed to mail out today but I forgot to bring them out! :| Will mail and post up RA numbers tomorrow.
23/12: I will be mailing out the things on 27/12, Wed. Please top up before that to avoid having to wait for the next round of mailing which would be in the first week of 2007.
22/12: Meetup is tomorrow. Those who miss the meetup, kindly opt for postage or get back to me regarding self-collection or riding on the meetups I will be holding for my other sprees. Thanks. Please note that after you have opted for post, you are NOT ALLOWED to change to meetup because I pack items as soon as I can so that I can send them out as soon as topup is received.
19/12: HELLO!! Parcel is here! And all items are inside! :) So I'll call vPost up tomorrow to tell them to discard the other package! YAY! :D Anyway, please be reminded to go
HERE to post your collection preferences. The earlier you all post, the earlier I can hold the meetup and therefore the earlier you'll get your items. I also need everyone to post ASAP so I know which items I need to weigh to calculate postage for.

Take note that all topups are to be done to POSB Sav 209-75270-0, BEFORE items are sent out or collected.
15/12: Package is not here yet of course, it's only been 3 days since I paid for it. Please go
HERE to leave your preferred mode of collection and addresses if applicable so that I won't have to wait for people to post their preferences when package arrives and all of you can get your items faster.
_veneanar, I will do your reimbursement transfer once I have made sure that everything else is in place and I have collected the vPost topups + reimbursement topups from everyone ok? Will let you know when I have collected from everyone and am ready to transfer to you. You do not need to leave your preferred mode of collection of course.
12/12 again: Wonderful news! They've already taken out the bag package so I've already paid for the shipment of the rest of the items. vPost charges is $112.78.
Calculation for charges per shipping unit is as follows:
No. of shipping units: 29 (including mine, minus the bag in the soon-to-be discarded package)
vPost per shipping unit: $112.78 / 29 = $3.89
Number of participants: 11 (including me)
Reimbursement to the participant with discarded bag: $19.48 / 11 = $1.77 per PARTICIPANT (not shipping unit)
Those are the tentative calculations (barring any other horrific incidents that may happen, please cross your fingers that there wasn't anything else in the bag package), I will do a proper top-up/refunds list when things arrive and I ascertain that there's no abnormally-big/heavy things. Do not top up now, I will let you know when you've to do the top-ups etc.
12/12: Ok, I've had to call vPost up again to check how things are going. They will be taking out the bag package from my vPost current shipment alerts so I can generate bill and pay for the package with the rest of the items to prevent incurring GST. Will not be discarding the bag package YET, they need to fly it over to Singapore for them to open and check the contents, but we will not need to pay for the shipping charges if we decide to discard the package, according to the CSO. She also said she'll try to get the bag package out of my bill by today, and for me to check my vPost account tomorrow to see if it's out. Will call them up and bug them again tomorrow if by 3pm it's still not out.
9/12: Have finally gotten through to vPost, they are going to open the 2.1kg package to see how many things there are inside and discard it if it contains only one bag. I think the contents should be only the bag cause the UPS tracking number the woman read off the package matches the one I have on hand from Target for the bag package. So yup, they'll be getting back to me via email regarding the contents. Also told them to hurry up cause I've the Target 2 order shipped and on the way to vPost already and I don't want to incur GST, but I won't be providing them the Target 2 invoice yet so that they can't match the package even if it arrives before they process Target 1.
7/12: Ok vPost sent me a received-packages-but-can't-match-to-invoices mail today and OH MY GOD. We have one normal package with 25 items (according to Target) costing $113 according to vPost calculator BUT we also have one package which is EVEN BIGGER than the 25-item box containing ONE ITEM which is a tote, and this is going to cost $124 to ship here which I feel is EXTREMELY RIDICULOUS. I'm going to post some screen captures here so that you will all be clearer about the situation.
1) According to Target, they shipped the Mossimo tote in one box and the other 25 items in another:
2) vPost received one 7.3kg box with 11.1kg volumetric weight, a reasonable charge for 25 items. They also received one box containing presumably only the tote and this is 2.1kg but bloody 12.4kg volumetric weight which is like more than 6 times its actual weight.
Ok, so after all the hooha here about Target's ridiculous method of shipping teensy things in boxes that could contain my entire house, I'm not very surprised. My plan is to get vPost to open up the 2.1kg box which is presumably the box containing the tote only (as stated by Target in my account tracking function). I will not be getting vPost to open the other box because there is a high chance that everything else is indeed in the other box and that cursed 2.1kg box only contains the tote. According to another organizer, vPost claims no responsibility for items lost during the opening of the package so that's why I'm not opening the 7.3kg box, I'm afraid anything may go missing. So if the 2.1kg box does indeed contain only the tote I intend to discard that box (ie not ship it over) cause it's just ridiculous to pay $124+ shipping for one bag that costs like $15. Without the 2.1kg box we should reach normal vPost charges (about $3.80 per unit with an estimate of about 30 units) for the other box and we will split the cost of the bag among the number of participants including me ($19.48 / 11 = $1.77 per participant) and I will refund the affected participant. Altogether it should come up to vaguely normal vPost charges plus minus about 2 dollars, if this plan works out.
Please let me know how that sounds or if you have a better idea by commenting or emailing me. Thanks!
6/12: Both packages have reached vPost Oregon according to the UPS tracking site but vPost service has been sloppy lately and I expect we'll have to wait maybe a couple more days for them to process and match the packages with the invoices.
3/12: Checked out the parcel tracking today - expected date of arrival at vPostUSA is 6/7 Dec so next update will be then.
30/11: Shipped shipped shipped! They shipped the order in two shipments instead :)
29/11: Got a friend in the US to call Target up (so we don't need to pay for international phone charges HEEHEE I am sneaky like that :D), they got the number of shipments down to the minimum - five. Apparently my friend got into a bit of a wrangle with them trying to get it down to one shipment but they insist that the minimum of shipments is five. Pfft. Will update again when they ship em out.
28/11: Order placed. I will be emailing Target as well as calling them up if there is no response (phone charges to be split among all spreers including me) because the order was grouped in NINE separate shipments! Have already sent an email to them to request that the order is grouped into a single compact shipment.

Through vPost. I will be collecting $3 initial per shipping unit to offset vPost shipping. Excess after local postage WILL be refunded / top-ups will be collected if required.
0.5 units for accessories / undies
1 unit for tops
1.5 units for non-denim shorts / non-denim crops / non-denim capris / denim mini / skirts / tunics / short dresses
2 units for long dresses / long pants / ALL denims other than denim mini / cord jackets
2.5 units for bags / sandals
3 units for boots / other stupidly heavy stuff eg winter jackets (email me before posting orders for very heavy items, I may or may not accept)
I reserve the right to readjust the shipping units for any item according to weight/volume when they arrive if they deviate an exceptional amount from the estimate. For eg: cardigan ordered, supposed to be one unit but upon arrival, cardigan is made of super thick wool taking up a lot of space or weighing a lot more than expected.
