I haven't done a picspam for an entire episode, or at least my favorite parts, in a LONG time! But the torrent came through pretty quick and I get to sleep in tomorrow so I'm doing it as an excuse to rewatch the episode while getting caps at the same time. What an awesome spam honey. I rewatched the end of the episode (and also THE SEX) like three times last night, but there were so many other fabulous moments too! The SOAP OPERA! Madison being adorable! And god, I love the picture of them after the first round of rock paper scissors, with Sam's hands on Dean's shoulders and Dean's hands on Sam's chest. It's a weirdly strong echo of their stance for a second at the end of Hunted. It's very intimate, in a Winchester way, and I love it!

And that rock paper scissors scene will NEVER get old! :P I LOVE that we still got some brother moments despite all the Sam/Madison concentration. I think they're really learning how to work a girl into the mix better than season 1.

Okay, watching those pictures is making me tear up. Not that the episode didn't, too. I felt bad for Sam. He finally meets someone that he can move on with, and he has to end up killing her. I do wish they could have found a cure, but I knew it pretty much wouldn't happen. Dean may be a horndog, but one thing's for sure, he's always there for his brother. I'm just glad we didn't see the actual shooting, hearing it was bad enough. Poor boys, they can never get a break, but this show just keeps on getting better.

TOTALLY agree! Each episode just raises the bar a bit more. Last night was INCREDIBLE in every sense of the word.

And this is totally gonna screw Sam up. In his mind, anyone (except Dean so far) he has any feelings for has died. I just felt so bad for him!

Thank you for this awesome picspam. I'd heard that this was a "Sam" episode. It is, but it isn't. The look on Dean's face, especially those last five, six frames is heartbreaking.

This episode did a great job of giving us some Sam and Dean moments, both together and apart, while still focusing on getting Sam and Madison together. The ending had so much importance for both characters.
