There are things in the movie that I noticed, but could very well be reading into the movie far too much. I just wanted to get second opinions ( Read more... )

Sounds right on to me. Especially #4. They are cute together though. :)

yeah, I love how much depth is in this movie
you can analyze everything and it just turns out brilliant!

i don't want to burst your bubble or anything, but to me all these things are pretty obvious - especially number 4, thats one of the main points of the film i think! (apart from number 2, as i don't know that album at all)

i think they even say on the cast commentry about him changing to diet coke, it echoes the change in his life, which is further shown by the change of decoration in the flat etc.

I never listened to the commentary...so I wouldn't know. And the change in flat would have come anyway since he's living with her by that point.

And I know number four isn't exactly a hidden point in the film, but it seemed interesting and I just wanted to see if I was going too deeply into it.
