Rats. Some of the songs are .m4a format. Do you know how to change that to .mp3?!

no idea, sorry. i noticed that as i was putting it together. but all i've seen is that you can choose which you want when you rip from cd--itunes doesn't convert anything except .wma that i could find.

itunes is free, though.

but then i thought to google 'convert m4a mp3' and i came up with some links-- for example, this which looks quite reputable, and this which seems somewhat sketchier but is definitely free.
