Cool, I didn't know you made this much other stuff. I thought your sewing-time mainly went to jumare :)

Great looking bags (and wow, those look like comfy shoulder straps!) Does J recognize her name yet when she sees it?

Oh, and what exactly are those fabric thingies in the jumare gifts? Is it a pouch to put the flyers in, or just a sample of fabric or smt? I really can't tell on the pic.

She does. For quite some time already actually.

Ah yes, that's what you get for being in a hurry. It are ehm... "labeldoekjes": doekjes met labeltjes eraan. Babies vinden het blijkbaar leuk om zo'n zacht lapje te hebben en dan aan de labeltjes te frunniken. Het is ontstaan doordat men merkte babies vaak alleen maar met het labeltje op een knuffel oid speelde. Geen idee hoe ik het in the Engels zou moeten noemen.

Aaah, vandaar dat het er idd maar uitzag als een lapje stof met wat uitsteeksels aan! :D Daar had ik nog nooit van gehoord. Leuk.

En wat naam betreft, ehhh, ook geen idee. Label-cloths? Er is vast wel ergens een leuk woord dat iemand verzonnen heeft en alle Engelstaligen overgenomen hebben, maar ik zou het niet weten :)

Thanks. I was very pleased with that one as well. It was also so much fun to make with such a fun fabric.

ohh great stuff! it's so fun to see what all you're making. and that juliette's bag is totally adorable! i'm sure she's proud to take that to the pre-school :) i know i would have been, as instead of a girly blue bag i had a turtles backbag that was the neighbour's boy's old :D
