Бывают, конечно. Только ведь любая схема - это всегда упрощение реальности :) Кстати, бываюn и всякие рассказы/новеллы, которые - та же поэзия, только без рифмы. И даже вообще без стихов.

I'd say literature/prose can have poetic elements, too. Stories and fairy tales can have this magic, too, but only if they're written for the sake of catching you and bringing you someplace else. Not like those stories having a morale, something you have to see at the end or those that are constructed to teach.
Most of the fiction, I would say, is written to take you someplace else. Some do it in impressionist way, by more or less pure emotion, some through immersing you in a (sometimes totally) different reality.
