That looks interesting, but WTF is it? It doesn't actually say anywhere. (Unless it's in the Flash somewhere.) Is it actually an ad-supported Internet TV station?

That's exactly what it is. An officially-sanctioned YouTube for licensed anime. If you pay $x per month you can watch stuff an hour after Japanese audiences do, and at higher resolutions. AnimeNewsNetwork's been streaming officially-sanctioned stuff too, as have several of the DVD companies directly. They've finally clued in on a more effective way to combat fansubs. It's an interesting concept! Though as the VP of an anime club I'm actually a little worried, because I have to run the videos at screenings while offline. Also the video quality is... well, it's not crap, but it's not a DVD-rip fansub.

Yay for Strike Witches silliness. Also, recently finished Maria+Holic, Maze Bakunetsu Jikuu, Rideback, and Dennou Coil. Should I watch Gekijouban Kara no Kyoukai or try Gunslinger Girl 2 again?

I am upset both that I either didn't know or had forgotten about Gunslinger Girl 2, and that .torrents thereof are proving somewhat elusive. I will have to investigate further...
