Have you had the silent treatment with someone or a few people at once?
Who started it?
What was the longest period of time you went without speaking with each other?
If it was a relative or close friend (housemates, classmates, workmates), how did you cope with it, especially being in close vicinity

a few days. but it was high school bull skit. it was supposed bff's but we eventually stopped speaking to one another altogether.

Ha, my roommate and I stopped talking to each other last year. I hadn't really intended to stop talking to her altogether, but I came back one weekend and she didn't say anything (and we hadn't been getting along for awhile) for a few days, and I didn't have anything to say to her, either. Then eventually it had been so long that I didn't want to break the silence first, then I wanted to see how long we could go. I'd say it lasted about three months, until we moved out of the dorms. It was incredibly awkward, and tough because we had been really close friends at one point. We haven't spoken since June.
