I've been skimming some similar journals. Its really great material. Sadly my time has been eaten by everything else and I haven't had a chance to sit down and go through them indepth.
I also ran across one that wasn't in english and sadly babelfish didn't seem to trasnlate it that well.
I really wish Larping in the US would take a more critical look at itself.
A critical look at itself? Yes. Should we become Norse LARPs? No. Like, I understand the general opinion in, say, Sweden, is that good LARPers make their own shoes. When I hear that, I am forced to admit that we are talking about two completely different hobbies. They have some good ideas, but what they talk about as good LARP is probably not considered good LARP by an American audience. Eventually, we will meet in the middle or something.
