I think that in spite of everything else, you have a GREAT family; one that a lot of us would be so envious of. So yeah, continue to be grateful because you lost one big thing but you're still left with so much more.

Honestly, I got teary-eyed when I read about your dad padding around the house singing out loud to his ipod.. :( I guess because I can relate to being unemployed and all.
